Flora Pastry



This is a delicious pastry and not so difficult to cook. I'm using blackberries jam for filling in, but you can use whatever you like (jam or marmalade)

Kjo eshte nje embelsire e shijshme dhe jo shume e veshtire per t'u gatuar. Une po perdor recel manaferrash per mbushjen, por ju mund te perdorni cfare te deshironi (marmalate ose recel)


Ingredients for the Flora pastry:
  • 1 egg
  • 180 gramme sugar 
  • 800-850 gramme flour 
  • 90 gramme margarine or butter
  • 190 milliliter water 
  • 7 dish spoons blackberries jam (the best one, or more clear : my mum makes the best blackberries jam :D)
  • 1 coffee spoon baking soda
  • 1 egg lightly beaten 
Perberesit:
  • 1 veze
  • 180 gram sheqer  
  • 800-850 gram miell 
  • 90 gram margarine
  • 190 millilitra uje 
  • 7 luge gjelle recel manaferrash (receli me i mire ose me sakte : mami im ben recelin me te mire te manaferrave :D)
  • 1 luge kafeje sode buke
  • 1 veze e rrahur lehte 
Put sugar in a bigger bowl, add baking soda, the egg, margarine, water and stir the ingredients together (you can do it by hand or by the processor)
Vendos sheqerin ne nje tas, shto soden e bukes, vezen, margarinen, ujin dhe perziej se bashku perberesit (mund ta beni me dore ose me mikser)
In a pie-pan put 500 gramme flour and add the mix. Work it with hand. Than add the rest part of flour and work it with hand until the dough will be ready
Ne nje tepsi vendos 500 gram miell dhe shto masen e pergatitur me pare. Punoje me dore. Me pas shto pjesen tjeter te miellit dhe punoje me duar derisa brumi te jete gati
Put the blackberries jam in the processor and mix them until they become marmalade
Vendos recelin e manaferrave ne mikser dhe bluaje deri sa te behet marmalate
Take the dough in the work table and open the dough with rolling pin in foil with a thickness of normal
Vendose brumin ne tavolinen e punes dhe me nje okllai hap brumin ne nje pete me trashesi normale
Add the blackberries marmalade in the middle of the foil
Shto marmalaten e manaferrave ne mes te petes
Collapsible the foil and than with the rolling pin strike once
Rrotulloje peten dhe e shtypim pak siper me okllai
Put the pastry in a pie-pan wrapped with baking paper and dye the pastry with lightly beaten egg
Vendose embelsiren ne nje tepsi te mbuluar me leter furre me pare dhe lyej siperfaqen e emblesires me vezen e rrahur lehtesisht
Baking Temperature : 190 grade C,  Timing : 25-30 minutes
Temperatura pjekjes : 190 grade C,  Kohe-zgjatja : 25-30 minuta
