This is the basic recipe, the butter cookies recipe that every family should have in the menu just in case. They are super simple to make and you can be creative and decorate them with and however you want them! So feel free to experiment, this is one of my versions on how to do them in the Xmas holiday

Jane shume te thjeshta per tu pergatitur dhe ju mund te beheni kreativ dhe ti dekoroni ato me cfare apo si te deshironi ju! Prandaj ndjehuni te lire te eksperimentoni, ky eshte nje nga versionet e mia si t'i bej keto biskota gjate festave te fundvitit
Ingredients for butter cookies:
- 98 gram unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 100 gram sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 192 gram flour
- colored sugar or a topping glaze after baking the cookies
Perberesit per biskotat e gjalpit :
- 98 gram margarine/gjalp jo i kripur, ne temperature dhome
- 100 gram sheqer
- 1 veze
- ½ tsp ekstrakt vaniljeje
- 1/4 tsp kripe
- 192 gram miell
- sheqerka me ngjyra ose nje glaze persiper mbasi biskotat te piqen
In a bowl cream together the butter and sugar
Ne nje tas rrih se bashku derisa te perftohet nje mase kremoze gjalpin me sheqerin
Add the egg and vanilla and mix until incorporated
Shto vezen dhe vaniljen dhe rrihi derisa te jete perzier masa
Add the salt into the flour bowl stir together and add it to the mixture and mix just enough to combine and the dough is nice and smooth
Shto kripen tek tasi i miellit perzieji se bashku dhe prastaj shtoje ne tasin e mases qe po pergatisim dhe perziej derisa perberesit te kombinohen dhe te kemi nje brum te bute dhe te lezetshem
Flour the working table and put the dough, flour the dough and work it until you make a ball (just a few seconds)
Sperkat me miell tavolinen e punes dhe vendos brumin, sperkat me miell brumin dhe punoje derisa te krijosh nje top (vetem per disa sekonda)
You can divide the dough in smaller balls like I'm doing (I advice you to do same) and open the dough with a rolling pin 1-1.5 cm thick. Keep the dough moving and floured while opening it
Ju mund ta ndani brumin ne topa me te vegjel sic po bej une (jua keshilloj dhe juve kete gje) dhe me pas hapeni brumin me okllai me nje trashesi 1-1.5 cm. Mbajeni brumin te sperkatur me miell dhe levizeni gjate kohes qe e hapni
Using a cookie cutter , dip it in some flour and cut out your shapes. Using a spatula to help, place the cookies onto the parchment lined baking sheets.
Duke perdorur nje prerese biskotash, zhyte ne miell dhe me pas prit brumin ne forma. Duke perdorur nje spatul per ndihme, vendos biskotat ne tepsine e mbuluar me leter furre
Put on top of each cookie the colored sugar if you're using them
Vendos siper cdo biskote sheqerka me ngjyra nese po i perdorni
Baking Temperature : 190 grade C, Timing : about 13-15 minutes (or until golden brown at edges)
Temperatura pjekjes : 190 grade C, Kohe-zgjatja : per rreth 13-15 minuta (ose derisa te jene kafe e arte ne konture)
