Apple Crisp


If you love apples as much as I do you’re going to love this
recipe. The combination is awesome and I love how the apples keep their shape but inside they are so soft and delicious. The topping fits best and this dish it's perfect for this time of year ! 


Nese i pelqeni molles aq shume sa i pelqen une atehere ju do ta dashuroni kete recete. Kombinimi eshte i mrekullueshem dhe ajo c'ka une pelqej tej mase eshte fakti se si mollet e ruajne formen e tyre por brenda jane kaq te buta dhe te shijshme. Shtresa e siperme i pershtatet me se miri dhe kjo pjate eshte perfekte per kete periudhe te vitit !


Ingredients for filling:
  • 900 gram red apples, peeled, cored and cut into
    big chunks


  • zest and juice of half of a
    small lemon

  • zest and juice of 1 small orange
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 100 gramgranulated sugar

Perberesit per mbushjen:
  • 900 gram molle te kuqe, te qeruara, te prera ne copa te medha
  • lekura e grire dhe lengu i nje gjysme limoni te vogel
  • lekura e grire dhe lengu i nje portokalli te vogel
  • 2 tbsp miell
  • 1 tsp kanelle
  • 100 gram sheqer
 Ingredients for topping:
  •  128 gram flour 
  • 85 gram oats
  • 73 gram brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • sliced almonds
  • 113 gram cold unsalted butter, cut into little pieces

Perberesit per shtresen e siperme:
  • 128 gram miell
  • 85 gram tershere
  • 73 gram sheqer kaf
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp kanelle
  • 1/4 tsp kripe
  • bajame te prera
  • 113 gram gjalpe/margarine e embel shume e ftohte, e ndare ne copa te vogla
In a large bowl, add all of the filling ingredients and mix together until all of the apples are coated
Nje nje tas te madh, shto te gjithe perberesit e mbushjes dhe perzieji se bashku derisa mollet te jene mbuluar mire me perberesit e tjere
Add the apple mixture in a casserole or glass dish(like mine) and set aside. 
Vendose masen e molleve ne nje tave porcelani ose qelqi(sic kam perdorur une) dhe lere menjane. 
 In the same large bowl (or not :P), mix all of the topping ingredients except for the butter. 

Ne te njejtin tas te madh (ose jo :P), perziej te tere perberesit e shtreses se siperme pervec
gjalpit. 
Add the butter and using your index finger and you thumb pinch the butter with the flour until its all incorporated.
Shto gjalpin dhe perdor gishtat tregues dhe ato te medhenj per te punuar gjalpin me miellin derisa e gjithe masa te jete perzier mire
Scatter the topping all over the top of the apples
Shtro perbatitjen e shtreses se siperme siper molleve
 Baking Temperature : 190 grade C,    Timing : 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly 
Temperatura pjekjes : 190 grade C,    Kohe-zgjatja : 40-45 minuta ose derisa te kete ngjyre kafe te arte dhe te jete me flluska
