Papare


This recipe is one of my faves and is also a very old Albanian recipe. It is super simple and with just few ingredients that everybody have home. There are just 2 little things I'd like to mention before you go and cook this in your kitchen : 1)you must use black bread because white bread won't work on this recipe and 2) it's preferred to use stale bread, by doing this you will have an awesome crusty texture which is my favorite part in this recipe

Kjo eshte nje nder recetat e mia te preferuara dhe eshte nje recete shume e vjeter shqiptare. Eshte shume e thjeshte per tu gatuar dhe me vetem disa perberes qe secili prej nesh i ka ne shtepi. Ka vetem 2 gjera te vogla qe do doja t'ju thoja para se te shkoni ne kuzhine per ta gatuar : 1)duhet te perdorni buke te zeze pasi e bardha nuk jep te njejtin efekt dhe 2) preferohet qe kjo buke te jete bajate ose e thene ndryshe e ndenjur, duke qene e tille do te keni nje teksture kerce e cila eshte gjeja ime e preferuar ne kete recete. 


Ingredients for papare:
  • chopped black bread 
  • white cheese 
  • 2-3 dish spoon cheese brine
  • 2 dish spoon butter 

Perberesit per paparen: 
  • buke e zeze ne copezuar
  • djath i bardhe
  • 2-3 luge gjelle shellire
  • 2 luge gjelle gjalp
 Melt the butter in medium heat at one skillet
Tret gjalpin ne flake normale ne nje tigan
 Add chopped bread and fry them stirring constantly for about 10 minutes 
Shto buken e copetuar dhe skuqe duke e perzier gjate gjithe procesit per afersisht 10 minuta
 Move from heat and crumble the white cheese
Levize nga zjarri dhe shkermoq djathin
 Put back on the heat and fry it for another 2-3 minutes while stirring constantly 
Vere perseri ne zjarr dhe skuqe per 2-3 minuta te tjera duke e perzier ne menyre te vazhdueshme
 Add the last ingredient : cheese brine. Keep frying while stirring for another 1-2 minutes and it's ready
Shto perberesin e fundit : shelliren e djathit. Vazhdo skuqe duke e perzier per 1-2 minuta te tjera dhe eshte gati
