Kjo eshte nje recete tradicionale shqiptare sic mund ta dini! Une e pelqej shume dhe ka qene nje nder embelsirat e mia te preferuara kur isha e vogel. Ka nje shije te embel, te bute dhe pak elastike(qe une e pelqej SHUME). Provojeni nese nuk e keni bere deri tani dhe me vini ne dijeni c'mendoni!
Ingredients for bukëzare:
- 5 eggs (separated)
- 580 gram sugar
- 750 gram all purpose flour
- baking powder
- a touch of salt
Perberesit:
- 5 veze (te ndara)
- 580 gram sheqer
- 750 gram miell
- baking powder
- pak kripe
You need an electric mixer, otherwise you will have to beat it for a longer time with a hand mixer
Ju duhet nje rrahese elektrike, perndryshe duhet ta rrihni per nje kohe shume me te gjate me nje rrahese dore
Put the egg whites in a large bowl and mix with electric mixer until fluffy and creates soft peaks.You don't want to over-beat it
Vendos te bardhat e vezeve ne nje tas te madh dhe rrihi me rrahesen elektrike derisa te jete masa kremoze dhe te krijoje maja te buta. Nuk duhet ta rrihni me teper se cduhet
Add the egg yolks and give it a stir, just to combine the batter
Shto te verdhat e vezeve dhe perzieje masen derisa te jete homogjene
This is the important step of this recipe : Add sugar and mix until sugar dissolves 100%. You got to make sure of that. This is what gives the cake that special taste, a bit chewy and soft. And you need a large bowl because the batter will triple
Ky eshte nje hap shume i rendesishem per receten : Shto sheqerin dhe rrihe masen derisa sheqeri te jete shperbere 100%. Duhet te siguroheni per kete. Kjo i jep kekut nje shije te vecante, te bute dhe pak elastike. Dhe ju duhet nje tas i madh sepse masa do te trefishohet

Put the batter in a pie-pan dyed with vegetable oil, cooking spray or butter
Vendos masen ne nje tepsi te lyej me vaj, me spray gatimi ose gjalpe(i embel)
Baking Temperature : 180 grade C, Timing : until full baking
Temperatura pjekjes : 180 grade C, Kohe-zgjatja : deri ne pjekje te plote

This recipe is a traditional Albanian desert. And since is like that I thought to put the Albanian name, not trying to fit a translation. I super love this recipe and was one of my faves when I was a little girl. It has this sweet, a bit chewy (which I LOVE) and soft taste. Try this and let me know what you think of it!
