To Be Or Not To Be

"TO BE OR NOT TO BE" this is the greatest phrase from William Shakespeare!... But today I want to talk about:
To Be Or Not To Be Famous

This is something really familiar to all of us, don't you think so? But I want to focus my subject on Blogger! We open our blog and sooner or later we reach a number of followers. This number can be few or many going to millions.... But I think this all depends on our education and in our nature!...yes I will explain this to you:
There are couple of Bloggers that are as I like to call them presumptuous! They think that they have anything and are anything, just cuz they have a popular blog and people comment on their posts! This is so selfish!
The Golden Diamonds seems to be like this kind of Bloggers! Me and my sisters have been commenting on her posts and she never EVER visited our blogs, just a word or something from her and it's not just us having this thing with her! Maybe you think I am being rude commenting on her or judging; well maybe I am, but don't you think she has been rude with us for a long time?! It is not that I have a personal thing with her, not at all! It just makes me really angry thinking how much people can change when they become popular or famous!... But I think this all depends on our education and in our nature!...(you get it now?!)
There are also many Bloggers who have thousands of followers and readers and they still are followers on other blogs and commenting in their posts! I would like to mention here: Shin, David and others 2! Shin is one of my earliest follower and a great friend of mine! She saw me at my first steps of blogging when I wasn't really good at it and new and she always was there for me, and still is of course! I comment on other Blogs and I always see her comment 2! David does that 2!... And YES it depends on our education and in our nature!
I am grateful to both of them, they have been regular readers and a big push to go forward!

And here is my note to you:
Be you truly are and don't let anything change you. Don't let famous change you like all the others did! Believe in your skills and your blogs are unique and special, just like you! And if you don't have many followers even if you had a long time since you opened one than it is not because people are not interested in your work, is because they haven't found you yet!

Here is an undiscovered diamond! Check her blog and why not, follow her:

  1. Interesting post-- I agree I tend to prefer bloggers who comment back too, though sometimes I find it hard too to comment even though I really don't get that may comments on every post haha.
    But I understand you completely!

  2. I have encountered these types of bloggers. The black hole bloggers- they take and take (comments, followers and feedback) but they never seem to give back. It's a bummer. I always prefer those who comment back because you feel like you can have a connection with that person.

Anyway, just found your blog and I love it. Following now! :)
And thanks for the other blog mentions. Gonna check them out right now!

  3. this is a very interesting post, bloggers that reply back just make you feel like you have some sort of communication, also makes you feel good to know that they have dropped by your blog even though you aren't a very 'successful' blogger.
and yes id love to follow each other, already following :)

  4. hey baby, cool idea of making a post, though you were a bit too sincere...

I'm friends with Doina, she doesn't post on blogs, at least not at mine, or yours, but we talk on facebook...so dont know what to call it, black hole or not...

anyway, anyone is allowed to be what he wants to be, its not meant that we'll all be the same.

    Vivan los mejores ! ;) ♥

  6. Hi Kiki! This is such a great post and I understand how you feel. When I first started my blog, I feel like I have no friends and I emailed a couple of popular bloggers for advice and they never responded. So I decided to just do things by myself. I consider my readers as my friends and I really enjoy visiting their blogs. Even if I'm really busy, I make some time off to comment on their blogs. Unless I'm sick or are really busy with homework, that's the reason why I'm late on commenting. Also I have a full-time job during the day so it's hard to comment back to everyone but I try my best! I believe in supporting other bloggers no matter how famous or popular you are because they're the ones who make you famous! But I don't hold a grudge against people who don't respond though; I think it's up to them to decide what to do.

Thank you for mentioning me! It means a lot! I'm really excited to see your blog grow! xxoxoxoo

  11. Love the thought behind this post.

Well there would always be different types of bloggers, some nice, some not so nice. It's just a matter of surrounding ourselves with the nice ones and disregarding the bad.

Love you dearie, you are a sweetheart and a fabulous blogger. :)

  13. This post is really interesting! I understand how you feel. Some bloggers are friendly with their readers and are down to earth but some are not. I prefer the friendly ones. I feel happy and excited when bloggers reply to my comments because it feels like i have a connection with them and it also feels like i just made friends with them.

Thanks honey for the comment! Your blog is lovely. Yes, i'd love to follow each other. I'm now following :)

  14. I love this poem! My literature subject made me memorize it. Anyway, I agree with you! I truly commend those bloggers that despite their popularity, still find time to be in the blog of those who are not as popular as them :)

  15. This is interesting. :(

I guess I wouldn't take it personally. I have tons and tons of bloggers that don't respond to me. I emailed a girl once and asked her if we could collaborate on some art maybe and she never responded...but you just move on. There could be a lot of reasons for it. Maybe they're really busy. Maybe they just don't care. Either way, I'm sure they're fully aware of whatever flaws they have.

Blogging is sort of a humbling experience because you (or I did at least) start to realize you're not as important as you think you are. It's interesting to say the least. But I understand where you are coming from.

    Best Wishes!

  17. What a great post although, I think it's kind of rude to point out a blogger. I agree with the idea of the post, but not so much telling off someone :)

hope you can check out my blog for some +vibes and inspiration! i have an awesome segment that everyone is encouraged to participate in, it's called truth tuesdays. Tuesday is dedicated to telling a specific truth. It will be a personal fact, a belief, a wish, a dream,an achievement/accomplishment, or even something I feel guilty about! It'll be a sentence long, with no explanations, just THE TRUTH. My aim is to tell a truth, in hopes that it'll help me spread my wings a little wider, higher, sharper, and longer.

    Don't be afraid!
    Lets soar together.
    smile.

I cordially invite you to participate in this project,
lets strengthen our confidence and sisterhood.

  20. This is a very very true post, I find it rude when people take the time to comment and don't get a reply, that why I always try to comment back, it is only polite! Blogger etiquette :)

  25. To be or not to be, that's the question. I think I couldn't agree more with anyone never in my life than with this post! What we can consider "famous bloggers" never answer at anything at all, i don't mean that they must, it's an option of course, and maybe they have 3000 comments on a post so that's impossible to answer to. Anyway, there are some of them (I can tell names one by one), not only bloggers, also youtube gurus, that weren't anything at all, people laughed at them and suddenly started being famous. Well.. they were so nice but when that happened I didn't know anything about them anymore. Then there are some of them that don't look at the post, nor the text and neither the photos, just comment with the URL to their blog and nothing else.
And then there are some of them that tell you "I follow if you follow my blog" but that's another topic..
    xx

I wish to come further in blogging, I really do! But since I recently started this blog, and only got a few followers, It's really hard to find me... I think you find me because my sister promoted me, didn't you? So, I guess that's the only way people will find me.

  32. I think sometimes bloggers get big and they consider themselves as a type of pseudo celebrity and try to have that air of untouchability. What they forget is that it is the ability to connect with others on a personal level which makes people read their blogs and become avid followers.

It's sad I think but luckily enough for the blogging community, the majority of us still support each other as we've not gotten too 'big' for our blogging shoes.
